The phurba (called ‘kila’ in Sanskrit) is used as a ritual object in Tibetan Buddhism. It is also known as a “”magic dart””.
Phurbas are used to represent the slaying of the enemy during rituals, which refers to the three poisons: ignorance, attachment and aversion.
The hand carving of this brass phurba pendant gives it a beautiful and unique rustic style.
